I bought Battlefield: Bad Company 2 yesterday, for my PS3. Great game, great action… did anyone else find a lot of situational comedy, even in multiplayer? ;-)

Did anyone else find the fact that there are only 8 multiplayer maps a little… underwhelming? Unfortunately I don’t have a VIP code, so I wouldn’t know if that makes a difference (I bought my copy used. Stupid move.) I may end up buying VIP access for $15, if it really is any good (they still say that more VIP content will come, still.)
But even then, the number of maps is disappointing. The gameplay is great! But I need a scenery change, thank you very much :)
And, squads. Lots of people were complaining about the 4-person-max squads. But I think this is actually a good idea. It divides the team into small sections that can really work together well.
Overall, this is a great game. Vehicles, a huge number of weapons, unlockables, specializations, just awesome! The downside: the VIP code [seriously, guys, what the eff? stop trying to stop us from re-selling something that’s ours!], and the gaping lack of maps. So, yeah. I would recommend getting it, and hopefully they’ll release a lot more maps :)
